AUSTIN, Texas (Fox 32 News) - A Texas man has been arrested for murdering a teenager almost 40 years ago.

Michael Galvan, 64, is accused of killing Debra Sue Reiding, 18, in Austin in 1979. He was always a suspect but police did not realize they had the evidence to arrest him.

He was charged after DNA tests showed it was his semen on a robe she was wearing when she was killed, police said.

Galvan and Reiding worked at the same restaurant. He sometimes gave her rides home after work.
