HILLSBORO, Ore. - Police in Oregon responded to a call from a woman who thought someone had broken into her house and was in her bathroom. After deputies broke down the door guns drawn, they quickly realized why the suspect was unresponsive.  After asking several times for the suspect to exit the bathroom, deputies eventually entered the room, and quickly identified the suspect as "an automated robot vacuum.”  Washington County Sheriff’s Office posted about the incident on their Facebook page Tuesday.

CTA to expand Addison Red Line Station: reports The CTA is working to make the Addison Red Line stop more accessible and safer with talks of an expansion. CHICAGO - The Chicago Transit Authority (CTA) is looking to widen the Addison Red Line to better accommodate crowds after Cubs games and concerts.  CTA officials outlined preliminary plans for the Addison stop earlier this month.  The proposal lengthens the platform to handle longer trains and adds more accessible entrances and exits.

Joseph Sarb, 42, is accused of driving a tow truck into a business parking lot around 10:14 p.m. where 46-year-old Daruisz Zalewski crashed into him while riding a motorcycle near Irving Park Road and Walnut Avenue. Zalewski was launched from his motorcycle onto Irving Park Road, officials said.

CHICAGO - Chicago police are searching for the driver responsible for striking a pedestrian near the CTA Irving Park Blue Line train last week. At about 1:07 a.m. on Dec. 20, a pedestrian exited the CTA Irving Park Blue Line train and was crossing Irving Park Road under Interstate 90/94 when a vehicle struck the pedestrian, police said. The pedestrian was seriously injured in the crash. The suspect vehicle fled the scene, traveling eastbound on Irving Park Road toward Pulaski Road from the underpass of I-90/94.
