FOX 32 NEWS - A missing 15-year-old from Gary, Indiana, who was the subject of an Amber Alert, was found safe Tuesday afternoon. Gary police wouldn’t elaborate on how or where in Gary they found her, only that she was found safe. Chastinea Reeves went looking for help after Gary police said her mother was the victim of a crime. Kelli McMillan, Reeves’ aunt, said the teenager and her 4-year-old sister arrived at her apartment in tears.

O'Leary, 39, of Palos Heights, faces two counts of domestic battery. At about 4:30 p.m. Monday, Downers Grove police officers responded to the 4200 block of Forest Avenue for a report of a domestic-related incident. When officers arrived, they located a woman outside a residence and observed visible injuries.

article CHICAGO - Two city workers escaped a sinking salt truck Wednesday morning after losing control of the vehicle and sliding backward into Lake Michigan. The Park District truck was traveling on the lakefront trail about 7:20 a.m. when it fell into the water near Chicago Avenue, Chicago Fire Dept. Deputy District Chief Jason Lach said in a news conference. “They hit a slick spot of ice and the vehicle lost control, sliding into the water,” Lach said.

Perez (Kane County States Attorney) SOUTH ELGIN, Ill. - A South Elgin man was charged with 23 counts of child pornography following a search of his home last week.  Victor Perez, 24, was arrested on May 16 after investigators with the Kane County Child Exploitation Unit executed a search warrant at his home in the 900 block of West Spring Street.  Kane County's top prosecutor, Jamie Mosser said Perez was in possession of multiple child pornography images and videos.

Leonid meteor shower will peak Monday night The Leonid meteor shower is known for fireballs and is expected to light up the sky with up to 15 shooting stars per hour. LOS ANGELES - The Leonid meteor shower will peak over the weekend into Monday, bringing up to 15 shooting stars per hour.  The Leonids are considered to be “a major shower” that’s active from November 6 to 30, but it is expected to peak on Sunday into Monday, according to NASA.

As with all other aspects of the late monarch's funeral, the flowers on Queen Elizabeth II’s coffin were chosen with precision and poignancy to convey special and touching messages about the Queen herself.  Atop the oak wood coffin laid not only the Crown Jewels but a floral arrangement that had been specially selected by King Charles III, the Queen's eldest son, and blooms picked from the gardens of some of the Queen and her family’s most beloved royal residences; Buckingham Palace, Clarence House, and Highgrove House.
